Huntington Hospital offers a variety of classes for pregnant women and their families. 

0. Labor and Birth Class – A 2-part class
   Includes signs of labor, stages of labor, pain relief during labor; covers issues relating to the last month of the pregnancy. Sign up for this series to begin about 32 weeks gestation (about 2 months before your due date).
0. Hospital Experience Class
   This class discusses medical information and hospital procedures such as fetal monitoring, induction of labor, Cesarean Section, epidurals and newborn procedures. 
0. Infant Care and You – A 2-part class
   Includes postpartum recovery for the mother, life with a newborn, baby’s behavior and basic newborn care. This is important stuff if you are about to deliver your first baby!
0. Maternity Tour – Call 626- 397-5037
   1st Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and 3rd Monday at 7:00 p.m. Braun Auditorium. No reservations needed, just show up!
   

For all of the above classes, it is a good idea to register well in advance, (ideally before week 24 of the pregnancy) since these classes are very popular and some time slots fill up quickly.
